Learn how Thrive Nutrition in Bournemouth offers expert food intolerance testing to uncover hidden triggers behind gut, skin, and energy issues.
At Thrive Nutrition you can discover how food intolerance testing can help identify the foods behind bloating, fatigue, and digestive discomfort.
What the service covers
• Nomi at Thrive Nutrition offers a laboratory-based IgG antibody test that checks over200 foods and drinks (including common items such as cow’s milk, egg, gluten, wheat, yeast, soy, almonds, coffee).
• The sample is via a simple at-home finger-prick blood test, which is then sent to a UK-based laboratory. Results are typically available within 5-7 working days.
• The test result is reviewed in a 1-to-1 consultation (in person or online) where you’ll receive guidance on how to use the results for an elimination diet or nutritional plan.
• The service is available for both adults and children aged 2 years and over.
• The initial consultation cost is stated (for general services) at £145. Functional testing and any supplements are not included in that base price.
How it works — step by step
1. You fill out a detailed health history questionnaire and diet diary before the appointment.
2. In the initial consultation (in-person or online) the therapist (Nomi Kreiser) will explore your symptoms, diet, lifestyle, and decide if the food intolerance testing is appropriate.
3. If you go ahead with the test: you get a finger-prick kit, take the blood sample at home, post it to the lab.
4. Within ~5-7 working days you receive a report showing reactivity levels to each food/drink.
5. You then have a review session where the results are explained, and a personalised plan is developed (elimination diet, foods to avoid or rotate, supporting nutrients).
6. Follow-up support: The nutritional therapy side continues with monitoring, adjustments and lifestyle/diet changes. (Not specific to the intolerance test only, but part of the broader package.)
