There’s a new reason to make evening plans in Boscombe. Spectacular Pizza is moving from pizza drops from a flat to a regular home at The Lodge of Heavy Leisure, with its first service on Thursday 5 November 2026. Expect 16-inch New York style pizzas, with evening services running Wednesday to Saturday.
It’s a lovely next chapter for a small food business. In the launch announcement, Spectacular’s founder describes going from making pizza drops from their flat to discussing turning The Lodge into a pizzeria in the evenings. Their enthusiasm for the partnership is clear, with both the venue and its team inspiring hopes of creating something special together.
The launch posters put 16-inch New York style pizzas front and centre, while the accompanying photographs give a tempting glimpse of the pizza making: generously sized pies, browned and blistered crusts, and toppings including pepperoni and fresh basil.
