Bournemouth Parkrun at Kings Park

About Bournemouth parkrun

Bournemouth parkrun starts and finishes near Kings Park Athletic Stadium. The predominantly flat course follows paths and open areas around the park, making it accessible to beginners while still appealing to runners chasing a quicker time.

There is no required pace. You can run, jog or walk, and a volunteer tail walker remains behind the other participants.

The event begins at 9am every Saturday. Arrive early enough to find the start and listen to the pre-event briefing. Check the official Bournemouth parkrun page before travelling in case of cancellation.

Registration and Barcodes

Participation is free, but register with parkrun before your first visit if you want an official result.

Bring a scannable copy of your personal barcode. This can be printed, displayed on an electronic device or accessed through the official parkrun app. Wristbands and barcode tags are also accepted.

You can complete the course without a barcode, but your time will not be added to your profile.
